The 105 series is perfect if you're looking for a more darker sound than spruce. These models have a solid cedar top paired with mahogany back and sides. The result is a more mellow sound but still resonant.
I am very pleased with it. I have a couple of "canons" and was looking for something soft and warm. This guitar fits that bill exactly. The action was excellent when received. I am still playing on original strings but am going to drop down to a 10 or 11 soon to see how that sounds. Can't beat the price and quality for a solid cedar top and layered mahogany sides and back!
