Part 2 – Parlor Guitars
We originally talked about our new Teton Parlor guitars here, but didn’t go into much detail or have photos for you all to ogle over. You’ll find all specifics and more photos, here, on the Teton Website.
The Parlors are so much fun to play on and we can’t wait for them to arrive! Those that saw them at the Summer NAMM show in Nashville were very impressed with the tone, feel and aesthetics. Teton Artists, Ben and Chad Truman had a chance to check them out as well and agreed that: “they’re great to play in a small space, like the tour bus or hotel room, but even better is that you don’t lose any of the sound or tone.”
We have talked about doing a parlor for a few years, but wanted to make sure we were able to work with the factory and make the best parlor we could. With measurements of 9 13/16″ upper bout, 14 3/16″ lower bout, depth of 4″, overall length of 38 ¼” and 18 frets; we were able to do just that and think players will be surprised by what these guitars are capable of producing.
Check out the pictures of the newest additions to the Teton family and watch for them at a Teton dealer near you, because they’re coming soon! And if you don’t have a Teton dealer near you, stop by your favorite independent music store and ask them to carry Teton guitars.
