I purchased my Teton guitar after having a rather bad experience with a Custom built instrument from another company. I was searching for a semi hollow guitar with 25.5 scale neck (my biggest concern was the neck scale as I won’t do the 24.75 route) when I came upon this beauty. I laughingly purchased one, for less than the tax on the instrument that I had just returned, as something to calm myself. Little did I know how nice this thing could be. It came out of the box in tune, set up with .10 gauge strings and had a very nice set up. The pickups were quite functional and the sound was quite pleasing. Perhaps my biggest surprises were the top being solid, the back being a solid routed mahogany piece, the wonderful neck (5 piece maple with two walnut stripes) and its great feeling neck joint, and the really nice fret work with a fret that seems similar to the tall jescar frets (a little taller than the 6150 or 6105 Dunlops but more narrow than a 6100).
The next day I made a few set up changes and took it on its first gig and it did very well. Since that time it has replaced my two custom built 335ish guitars that have a 25.5 scale. It is my #1 and I hope to play it into the ground. I put some links of this guitar in action below.
