After 30 plus years of picking 6 strings I finally broke down and set out on a serious hunt for a 12 string in the $500-$1200 price range. I visited every guitar retailer in the tri-city area outside Philadelphia…and played at least a dozen brands, every variety in stock, and logged countless hours playing them. By accident, I stopped in the closest retailer near my home that I was under impression they only sold low end and high end used guitars…mostly used Martin…probably because the U.S. models are made just a few miles up the road. Well, I was simply blown away, impressed, delighted, excited, and whatever other mood that Teton guitars put me in. Every model I played was impressive to say the least. Within 10 minutes of the best 12 string acoustic playing I could deliver (in part because the Teton made my effort that much better)…I Was Hooked!! I could not believe this guitar, as well as it is constructed, and priced for the blue collar guy that I am, was everything (and then some) that I didn’t expect. Action is amazing, sound is right there with the more expensive brands, and quality is clearly there on every Teton I’ve seen. Rather than babble any longer, I suggest you give Teton acoustics a play…I guarantee, it won’t disappoint! Sincerely, a seasoned player who is now a loyal Teton costumer…for life!
