The Teton Exotic Top guitars are built to look AND sound amazing. Ultra thin exotic wood veneers are applied to the top of a solid sitka spruce soundboard. The veneers are glued to the solid top with synthetic protein glue, which helps the top pieces of wood vibrate together to produce amazing tone. The Exotic Top series is not like any veneer topped guitar you have heard before. Our goal was to make a beautiful guitar that did not compromise the Teton sound that players have come to rely on. We accomplished this and are proud to offer guitars that will make sure they look as stellar as they sound when you are performing.

Great sound and beautiful! I just purchased this guitar and am so pleased with the easy play and warm tone. It sounds clean and the pre-amp produced a clean sound. I really love this guitar both plugged in and unplugged.

I was on vacation visiting my mother in Florida over Thanksgiving and was really missing my guitar, so I decided to go to the nearest non nationwide chain guitar store. The Music Store Inc. in Clermont Florida was the closest place. The owner Rick helped me. I had never heard of Teton guitars and I NEVER buy anything of significance without thorough research. But Rick suggested I play a Taylor, a Martin, and then the Teton. I was BLOWN AWAY! Imagine the confidence one must have to suggest that! The Teton sounded just as good. Somewhat confused I then grabbed a used super cheap one and strummed a few chords and then I knew the Teton was just a really good guitar. It’s absolutely gorgeous too, and it has a Fishman pickup! Bonus!!
The final test of this new, previously unknown Teton brand was when I got home and compared it to my beloved Epiphone. The Teton sounds so much better…. I couldn’t believe my luck! Anyone want to buy a used Epiphone?

Beautiful looks. Even more beautiful sound. Plays like a dream. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase!
