The 103 and 200 Series
This month we are showcasing two guitars covering two series. One is a parlor sized guitar and the other is a grand auditorium sized guitar. I guarantee that both of these guitars will blow your socks off! (Watch this episode of Teton TV for proof.)
This is one of our fabled parlor guitars. Sporting a solid African mahogany top and laminate African mahogany back and sides plus a matte finish, this guitar has a very stylish and traditional look. The headstock is slotted and has classical style Wilkinson tuning machines. The neck joins the body at the 12th fret, as opposed to the 14th fret, on standard sized models. The bridge is moved back accordingly to maintain a 24 1/4” scale length. This a comfy guitar that has a beautiful, compact, and a tight-knit sound to it. Once you start playing it, the mahogany comes alive producing a warm and inviting tone. Pull this one out and you’ll be turning heads for sure!
This model, simply put, is incredible! It’s built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides. This model also garnishes a gloss finish, abalone fingerboard inlays, and mahogany/herringbone binding. This is a classy looking beauty that sounds absolutely amazing. Just a moderate strum on a chord and the gates of music open up! Playing this guitar is effortless and so enjoyable! The voicing has a deep yet bright sound that mesmerizes you and before you know it, an hour has gone by and it only felt like minutes.
